We went to the Brookfield Zoo for my birthday and it was a gorgeous day!

Perfect zoo weather!

Let's start with a hilarious video of Campbell in the Living Coast exhibit.
There's a simulation of waves crashing down on the rocks, and as you can see, Campbell loved it!

 

See? BEAUTIFUL weather.

 

This is in the Swamp House - that sign says 'Gator Bellow'.
Cam liked pressing the button to hear the rumbling noise under his feet.

 

Here's Megan and Campbell looking at the bears.

Campbell put his finger in the lion's nose all by himself
with no prompting from me.

 

Cam was a little unsure of the goats in the Children's Zoo

 

He liked the chickens.

 

And the geese.

 

This is when we had our picnic lunch on the grass.

 

The exhibit Campbell liked the most?
That he talked about for about a week afterwards?

The honeybees.

 

And here's me and my boy.

A day out with him is the best birthday present a dad could ask for.
