On the way to Inverarry we stopped off at Carnasserie Castle. We're now in Campbell country and this was the first castle affiliated with the Campbells we saw.

After that castle we saw Inverarry Castle. This is the seat of Campbell power. The current Duke of Argyll is a Campbell and Inverarry Castle is his home. It's open for visitors, but they closed down for the slow season just a week before we got there.

Oh! I almost forgot. While staying at our hotel in Inverarry, we tried...for the very first time....real honest to goodness.....HAGGIS!

I thought it was great. Megan liked it at first and was able to eat a few bites, then the realization of what she was eating crept in and she couldn't eat any more. Oh well - more for me.
